Our head office is Union based in the heart of Manchester City Centre on Albert Square. You’ll spend the majority of your working day here, as well as travelling to our spaces across our regional portfolio - hyperlinked below are some examples of our portfolio:

Placements:
If successful you’d start with us in September 2027, joining as a cohort of four Placement students across our Building & Construction team. Two of which will be within Building Surveying. Starting with a robust induction period to understand the business, who we are and how we operate.
We’ve got a great track record of developing Placement Students here at Bruntwood SciTech, so you’ll get a really clear introduction to the world of surveying and Commercial Property, with real tangible on the job experience that will not only greatly help you with your studies in 3rd year, but will set the foundations of your career.

The salary for the role is currently positioned at £26,227.5, however it will rise in line with the real living wage changes in April 2027.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be studying Building Surveying, completing your 2nd year of study in 2027, ready to start a placement in September 2027. With a passion for Commercial Property and the impact this has on our cities and our communities
- Any employment during study or out of term time will be taken into consideration but is not essential
- You’ll resonate with our values, understanding how we operate and the key to our success
- You’ll be curious and eager to learn, willing to travel around our portfolio and ask questions. Looking to gather the knowledge to innovate and make an impact early within your role
- We’ll be taking into account your short paragraph on why you are interested, your favourite value of ours and why. As well as your biggest personal achievement - all questions asked on the application form.

What happens next?
- The closing date for applications will be Friday 30th October
- All applicants will receive feedback by Friday 20th November
- If your application is successful you’ll get a call from our Talent team to discuss the role, Bruntwood SciTech and the Assessment Day further
- The assessment day will be Tuesday 1st December, please make sure you are available for this day
- You’ll receive an email or a phone call with feedback by Wednesday 9th December depending on your preference.
