Job purpose:
The Facilities Team Member works across a group of buildings, carrying out grounds maintenance and caretaker duties to uphold the highest standards as part of Bruntwood’s service to their clients.
This role is advertised for 40 hours per week worked Monday to Sunday with a base at our lovely Valo, Lumina Village but working flexibly across our Manchester region buildings. An automatic van will be provided so it's crucial that you hold a valid UK driver's license.

What you will be doing:
- Maintain high standards of presentation to the external grounds, including mowing, weeding, litter picking.
- Supporting PPMs such as fire testing, Water temperature Checks and Emergency lighting, compliance checks, cleaning, reactive repairs.
- Support the Bruntwood building team when required, networking and building positive working relationships with all team members and customers.
- Be flexible to support any task that may arise and is reasonably requested.
- Open and lock up of buildings where required
- Complete regular building standard checks and inspections
- Everything you do should link back to our Service Mission.
- Positive Intervention - Health and safety immediate concerns. (training to be given)
What we are looking for:
- Ultimately we are looking for a ‘can-do’ attitude. Someone who is enthusiastic and flexible, adapting to a role where no day is the same
- Comfortable working in any of Manchester's weather seasons as all four usually come in one day.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a small team as well as independently, we have a great working environment here at Bruntwood and therefore we are keen for people to join who want to be part of a collaborative, positive working environment
- Training will be provided on the role but any experience in maintenance would be beneficial but not a must
