Sustainability at Bruntwood
You’ll be based at our head office based in the heart of Manchester City Centre - Union on Albert Square.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape what the future of CRM looks like at Bruntwood. The foundations are in place, and the next phase is about accelerating what the channel can deliver. The role sits within the digital team - reporting to the Head of CRM & Lifecycle Management with close ties to our marketing team.
Job purpose:
As CRM & Lifecycle Manager, you'll own and evolve our CRM marketing programme, leading the design and delivery of always-on lifecycle campaigns that drive lead conversion, customer engagement, and revenue growth, while continuing to develop the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform that powers it all.
Sitting at the intersection of technology, marketing, and data, you will be both a hands-on campaign manager and a product-minded platform champion, bringing the rigour of a structured, test-and-learn approach to everything you do.
What we’re looking for:
- A strong background in email marketing and CRM campaign management, with proven experience planning, building, and delivering lifecycle or always-on campaigns.
- An interest in and aptitude for the technical side of CRM. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable getting hands-on with the platform and curious about how things work.
- Experience with an enterprise marketing automation platform. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an advantage, though experience with comparable platforms such as HubSpot, Braze, Marketo, or Adobe Campaign will be relevant.
- Comfortable working with data, using segmentation, behavioural signals, and campaign analytics to drive targeting decisions, measure performance, and surface meaningful insights back to the business.
- You’ll love working with stakeholders, having the confidence to work across functions, coordinate with marketing and CX teams, and bring colleagues along on the CRM journey through training and advocacy.
- Experience working in a B2B, enquiry-led, or contract-based environment is desirable, as is familiarity with complex data models and enterprise integrations.
- HTML for email is a bonus.
- A commercial outlook: you care about the business outcomes your campaigns drive, not just the metrics.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and develop the always-on CRM campaign programme across the full customer and prospect journey, including lead nurture, conversion, onboarding, cross-sell, retention, and re-engagement.
- Plan, build, and deploy automated customer journeys using behavioural data and segmentation to deliver personalised, timely communications across email, SMS, and app push/in-app.
- Work hand in hand with marketing and customer experience teams across both business divisions to develop and coordinate targeted campaigns that support wider business priorities, while managing a growing campaign calendar from brief through to deployment with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Continuously test and optimise through structured A/B testing and audience experimentation, applying a product mindset to develop hypotheses, design experiments, and iterate quickly based on results.
- Act as a guardian of CRM data quality and compliance, ensuring all campaigns and communications meet GDPR, PECR, and internal data governance standards.
- Take shared ownership of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform roadmap, working closely with our Marketing Cloud admin to scope, prioritise, and deliver enhancements that deliver business value.
- Translate business and campaign needs into clear requirements and maintain a backlog that is always ready for sprint execution.
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies including planning, review, and retrospectives, helping to maintain delivery pace and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular, clear reporting on campaign and platform performance, translating data into actionable recommendations that help the business make better decisions.
