Sustainability at Bruntwood

Job purpose:

As the strategic lead for Bruntwood SciTech’s digital function, you’ll be responsible for the vision and commercial performance of our digital marketing activity. You will bridge the gap between our digital real-estate and our commercial objectives, ensuring our digital presence drives the high-growth leads necessary to power our business plan.

What we’re looking for:

  • Considerable knowledge of Paid Social as we manage all of this in house
  • A sound knowledge of CRM (MarketingCloud preferable but not essential), working closely with our IT team to brief commercial objectives and create content
  • PPC/SEO/Display/CRO are all outsourced to our agency partner, however a solid understanding of these channels is crucial to be able to manage/support/challenge our agency partner effectively
  • A background in B2B Marketing / lead generation preferable but not required
  • Good grasp of all digital platforms, Google Analytics, Adwords, Facebook Campaign Manager, LinkedIn
  • As a client side organisation you’ll be comfortable representing digital marketing across the business, working with key stakeholders to drive projects and provide statistics to senior stakeholders
  • You’ll manage one Digital Marketing Executive, so managerial experience is advantageous, but it’s more important to be able to lead digital and support/develop our Executive
  • A passion for placemaking/commercial property/innovation

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with our regional marketing and commercial leads to translate high-level business targets into sophisticated digital campaigns, focused on driving lead generation and quality of enquiries
  • Lead the relationship with our Digital Agency, moving beyond day-to-day management to strategic stewardship—setting rigorous performance benchmarks and ensuring they are delivering cutting-edge innovation, not just execution.
  • Own and drive the strategic roadmap for PPC, SEO, Display, Paid Social and CRM campaigns alongside our agency.
  • Working closely with our in-house Head of CRM and Lifecycle Management, develop and evolve our CRM strategy. Look to automate cross-sell/up-sell workflows that move both prospects and customers through the funnel.
  • Act as the business-wide SME (Subject Matter Expert) for our digital activity, advising on and embedding digital best practices across the wider Marketing and Regional teams to ensure a consistent, data-led culture.
  • Collaborate with the CX team to turn 'Voice of the Customer' data into digital action. You will use sentiment and behavioral insights to influence UX/UI improvements and ensure our content strategy solves real-world pain points for our innovative workplace community.
  • Elevate reporting from "what happened" to "why it matters." You will provide Board-level insights and weekly performance narratives that give stakeholders clear visibility into digital’s impact on our business objectives

We really believe that if you’re brilliant to work with, you deserve brilliant things in return:

  • 28 days holiday plus you get your Birthday off work - and if that’s not enough you can also buy & sell holidays too
  • Company bonus - paid annually
  • 24 hours a year volunteer time - there are endless opportunities for you to get involved in supporting the causes that matter most to you
  • Sabbatical of up to 12 months so you can take a career break after five years with us
  • Healthcare cash plan for all colleagues, so you can claim back medical expenses like optical, dentist & physiotherapy. We also offer free private healthcare cover on an opt in basis too
  • Life assurance cover for all colleagues
  • Up to 8% matched pension scheme
  • Discounts & cashback at leading retailers
  • Enhanced maternity / shared parental leave - 26 weeks fully paid leave
  • Interest free loans to pursue your passions and apply for up to £2000 towards learning a new skill

In addition to what to expect within the role and your benefits, it’s good to know that you’ll be working for a business that gives back - The Oglesby Charitable Trust has donated more than £30m since it started out in 2001. Supporting charities across Arts and Culture, Education, Environment, Medical Research and Social & Health Inequality

We’ll do our best to get back to you within a week of your application, however if it has been longer than this please feel free to email talent@bruntwood.co.uk for an update.
