This role is advertised for 40 hours a week, working Monday to Friday. Having a driving licence is crucial for the role as you will be required to work across Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool. A van will be provided by us that you can drive to and from work with the potential for overtime.

Job purpose:
As a Mobile Cleaner, you'll play an important part in providing safe, clean environments and workspaces for our customers. You will provide a dynamic, rapid response to ensure we serve our customers and ensure continuity of service where required.
We are looking for reliable and flexible people who are comfortable working across multiple locations with a changing workload. This role is pivotal in ensuring we meet our customers expectations through filling any planned and unplanned absences in our cleaning operation.
What you’ll be doing:
- To work across a portfolio of commercial office buildings, retail sites and education providers to deliver a reactive cleaning service that covers planned and unplanned absence
- To carry out planned periodical work including carpet cleans, steam cleaning, hard floor cleaning and builders cleans.
- Provide cover cleans for onsite colleagues when sickness and holiday cover is required, this will include cleaning of toilets, washrooms and communal areas.
- Interpret and develop a knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals and the safe use of cleaning equipment.
- Keeping the mobile van and equipment in good working order, ensuring a professional image is presented at all times and carrying out weekly vehicle checks
- Where necessary, transport equipment and goods between sites to support the operation
- Openly share your knowledge and experience with other Unify colleagues.
- Report any safety hazards to your manager i.e. locked fire doors, damaged flooring
- Be an ambassador of the company values, treating colleagues and customers with fairness and respect
- Engaging with customers and making your service memorable, it’s about interaction not just transaction
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be experienced in cleaning and able to work in a fast paced and changing environment. Often you will be required to service multiple sites each day
- Previous experience in operating a wide range of cleaning equipment safely including carpet cleaners, steam cleaners and wet vacuums would be helpful
- A driving licence is essential for this role with no more than 6 points
- You’ll be a good communicator, with a passion for customers and meeting their needs
