Job purpose: 

The Senior Content and Social Media Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a best in class ‘always on’ and integrated content and social media strategy. Responsible for driving a positive interaction between the brand, current and prospective audiences and stakeholders across a broad range of channels and touchpoints, leading to an increase in brand awareness and lead generation. 

You will be working from our lovely head office Union, although you will also be required to travel to different locations to manage content as required.

We’re keen to see applications from candidates with a strategic mindset who can see the bigger picture, while also being hands-on and action-oriented. The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing and delivering content strategies across various channels, with a high level of expertise in B2B social media and content creation. The role requires the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, demonstrating both influence and adaptability. A commercially focused interest in property tech, innovation, and science would be a strong asset, as we aim to engage audiences in these sectors. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with practical execution, moving seamlessly from high-level planning to hands-on content creation.

What you’ll be doing: 

Strategy

  • Lead the development and implementation of an integrated content and social media strategy and plan, designed to amplify the brand story, products and services through written and visual communications across channels 
  • Lead the management and optimisation of our own brand communication channels to drive engagement, growth and performance improvements across existing and new channels 
  • Manage news gathering across the portfolio on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and liaise with stakeholders to share the relevant stories and content across channels to ensure we’re sharing our news in a fully integrated way 
  • Continually review performance across channels to ensure activity works as hard as possible. Ensure all brand and commercial messaging is created to drive improvements in engagement, conversion and brand advocacy. 
  • Lead the team in developing adaptive and innovative responses to briefs and pro-actively staying up to date in content and social media marketing trends and developments
  • Develop content strategies and tone of voice documents which ladder up to overall brand proposition, and be a guardian of tone of voice guidelines 
  • Manage the SEO and thought leadership content creation with external agencies, and assist in the management of this for Bruntwood Group
  • Manage on-page SEO improvements across the website with external agencies
  • Oversee the design and development of landing pages for programme support, and provide full marketing campaign support inc. asset creation, video promotion, social media campaigns and partner pack creation for campaigns 
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports based on brand and commercial objectives utilising data from GA4 to showcase direct referrals from social and blog posts 
  • Champion social media content within the business and showcase the positive impact it drives towards our commercial lettings plan 
  • Manage the senior social media executive, developing their skills and ensuring timely delivery of plans and content 
  • Content creation inc. video (script, briefing), graphics, blog writing
  • Email marketing content strategy support and copywriting
  • Writing guest blogs for senior leadership team for external publications
  • Developing strategies for delivery of customer testimonials and identifying key customers and new, fresh approaches to videos 
  • Planning, development and execution of company-wide video projects with senior stakeholders in the business and external shareholders 

Social

  • Lead and evolve our social media strategy, planning and execution across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok 
  • Develop an outline of social content plans 3 months in advance that cover all business objectives and regional activity 
  • Analyse social media metrics and use data to continually improve social media and content strategy
  • Recommend investment and targeting opportunities to optimise our channels and reach, driving greater return-on-investment
  • Work alongside the paid digital team to create social-first content to embed across paid campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn
  • Proactively stay up-to-date with relevant trends, tactics and developments within the social  space that can be directly applied to our brand and campaign
  • Storyboard and edit social-first videos 
  • Ensure social graphic briefs and assets are fit for purpose and tell key messages in a clear, engaging way
